| We had our tournament the first weekend in February. We were delighted to have many out of town guests (Paul, Little John, Rufus, George, Jay, Bob, Sue, and Joe W) and hope that they can come again--we really enjoyed the comraderie. Here are the games we played and the results of each game. Friday night, 25 people played 301 singles. First place went to Al Fryc. Second place went to George who also had the high ton of 130. Third place went to Kellie Bangsund. Fourth place went to Sam Jasmine. Saturday morning, 26 people played Round Robin. First place went to Sam Jasmine. Second place went to George. Third place went to Michelle Walter who also had the high ton of 124. Fourth place went to Rufus. After we finished Round Robin, we tried a new game to the tournament called Gotcha. We had 26 people playing. In this game, you start at 0 and try to be the first to get to exactly 301. If another player's score after throwing a dart matches your score, your score then goes back down to zero and you have to start over. People seemed to enjoy this game. (I am not sure whether there was a high ton.) First place went to George. Second place went to Kellie Bangsund. Third place went to Bob. Fourth place went to Joe Chastek. Saturday night after dinner, 13 pairs of people played 301 Luck of the Draw, where your partner gets chosen for you by drawing matching numbers. First place went to Sam Jasmine and Michelle Walter. Second place went to Joe Chastek and Sue from Pittsburg. Third place went to Jay from out of town and Gar Giddings. Jay had the high ton of 157. Fourth place went to Bob from Pittsburg and Nancy Giddings. Sunday morning, 14 pairs played 501 Pick Your Partner where chosen partners take turns shooting at one score. First place went to Shawn and Kellie Bangsund. Second place went to Bob and Sue from Pittsburg. Third place went to Jay and Paul, both from out of town. Fourth place went to Mike Bangsund and Shaun Johnson, who also had the high ton of 133. Nevin was given a trophy for first place dart boy. There were also door prizes and ticket drawings.
