Twin Cities Blind Audio Dart League Banquet meeting, May 19, 2026 Ellen called the meeting to order at 7:41 PM members Present were Steve, Ellen, Jordan, Kellie B, Chris, Jodi, Monica, Dottie, Riley, Phil, Tori, Josh X, Josh, Lisa, and the name I cannot read it looks like Xorum plus several others. Lisa read the minutes for the August 5, 2025 meeting. Phil made the motion to approve. Riley made the second and there was some discussion and all were in favor. Vice president report Phil said that there were some complaints. He was hoping to bring in some new players including a minor. Good behavior was encouraged because some players are under 21. We need to be more encouraging and to have fun and to watch our language. Treasurer report by Kellie. She said we had $4135.15 and she listed deposits and expenses, which included blue host, the PO Box, and donations that we received. There were still end of year expenses including prize money. Captains rep report Kelly Harrison was gone so Phil reported that we had five teams and six rounds. Riley hoped that we'd have six teams next year. Outreach Phil said they met with the same group of kids they met with before. They did a demo with some kids in February at a Braille event. The kids seem to enjoy it; maybe get some of those kids to join. There was some discussion about making a brochure. Jodi could do it. Also there was no official release form. We discussed release for photos. Chris made a motion to create the photo release form and Phil seconded it. Old business We discussed the cabinets holding up and that there should be tape inside (there was some more discussion). Chris and Phil talked about building new cabinets. Someone will talk to Eagles. The boards will be looked at because they keep messing up. They are two years old and there's no warranty. Brian had a question about outreach. He is available to do more than once a year. There was some discussion. Riley and Phil will give Brian info to do that. New business Michal wanted to start a team: he has people interested. Monica had a question about putting up ads at Eagles. Jodie and Monica will have flyers ready. Michal suggested having team names. There was a motion about it but I could not hear it. The idea did not pass. Elections Phil opened the floor for nominations for president. Riley nominated Josh X and he said no. Gary nominated Ellen and she said no. Michal nominated himself but I did not hear a confirmation. Ellen nominated Phil and he said yes. Tori nominated Michal and then he said no. Phil won presidency by acclamation. Mike H made a motion to close the elections for president and Gary seconded it. Vice president nominations Phil nominated Michal. He said yes Monica nominated Brian and he said yes. There was a motion to close nominations. It was too noisy to hear who did it but Brian won the vice presidency. Kellie said she didn't want to be the treasurer again. Jodi was nominated and Phil made the motion for her to win by acclamation. Captains rep Phil nominated Evan. He said no. Phil nominate Chris. He said yes so Phil made a motion for to Chris win by acclamation and Mike seconded it. Board elections Riley nominate Josh X he said no. Riley also nominated Evan who said yes. Riley was nominated.
