Twin Cities Blind Audio Dart League Banquet and Membership meeting, April 29, 2025 Dart banquet Members present: Dotty, Bill, Terry, Hesper, Al, Colleen, Kellie H, Lisa, Nate, Ben, Mike H, Gary, Christmas, Therese, Brian, Mike V, Josh X, Michal and Friend, Kellie B, Chris P, Riley, Tori, Jordan, Steve, Ellen Meeting was called order at 6:34 PM. first the team stats were listed. In fifth place was Gary with 30 wins and 120 losses, in fourth place was Al with 67 wins and 83 losses, in third place was Riley's team with 88 wins and 59 losses, in second place was Ellen's team with 89 wins and 61 losses and first place was Chris's team with 122 wins and 28 losses. Some individual stats were most points by Bill 74 most zero out tie between Chris and Bill. Low Round zero out with Chris round five dart one, most tons tie between Riley and Dotty and Al six points, hi ton was 136 by Kellie B, the most low scores was Riley 50, most improved player was Josh X, rookie of the year was Terry. The general meeting Riley called the meeting to order at 7:25 PM. The vice president had no reports, no new rules or bylaws. Some complaints were dealt with and a team folded. They had an emergency board meeting in December. The treasurer's report: there is $4240.55 and deposit included $3723. The expenses were listed, including the PO Box, bank fee folders and printing and prizes and the final report was $3774.69. The secretary didn't get all the details regarding the treasurer's report and Kellie would send it and the secretary had difficulty retrieving the report so the details are not all included here. Lisa read the minutes from the member meeting. Chris made a motion to approve and Colleen Seconded it. The captains report by Kelly H: nothing new. Antonio's team disbanded and Brian went to Gary's team. League will start on September 9 next year. Riley talked about a season tournament, a summer tournament. Riley said he would organize it at the VFW after he finished his trips, probably hold mid July to mid August. Riley described his trips. Outreach: Riley talked about a camp with middle schoolers that we need volunteers for August 12 in the morning in Inver Grove Heights. He talked about taking over being president 1.5 months ago. Old business: all the lock replaced with combination locks. The stage board was acting up giving out free 20s. The disbanded team of Antonio's was discussed and their funds would go into the dart board maintenance fund. Captain's rep report: Kelly H talked about people getting their rosters in on time. Chris proposed a rule that subs are used only with consent of person being subbed. Brian Second it. Use your players. New business: rule proposal: when playing a team who was using a dummy score the dummy score should decrease by 33 points per round until they reach the score of 100. Kelly H made the motion and Gary second but this rule did not pass. There were 10 yeses and 11 noes. Elections Presidential nominations: Kelly H nominated Dotty and she declined. Jordan nominated Ellen. She accepted. Gary moved and Chris second to close nominations so Ellen became president. Vice president nominations: Kelly H nominate Al he declined. Colleen nominated Bill. He declined. Jordan nominated Gary he declined. Ellen nominate Therese and she accepted. Mike H made motion to close nominations Gary seconded so Therese became vice president. Secretary is appointed. Treasurer Kellie B said that she would be the treasurer again. The three board members: Kelly H nominated Colleen who accepted. Therese nominated Brian who accepted. Kellie nominated Gary and he accepted. Therese nominated Christmas as the alternate. There was a proposed rule by Chris: in the event a sub is used, the captain must exhaust all other options or lose 3 team points and 3 personal points. There was some discussion all were in favor. At 8:12 PM Gary made a motion to end the meeting and Chris seconded it.
