Twin Cities Blind Audio Dart League August 28 membership meeting President Therese Dahlberg called the meeting to order at 7:20 PM. In attendance were: Chris, Colleen, Ellen, Gary, Jordan, April, Lisa, Mike V, Phil, Brian, Catalina, and Janet League play will begin on September 13 at 6:30 PM. After much discussion Therese said she would speak with VFW but there are concerns not to alienate a venue in case the league hopefully expands in the future and that with 4 teams in the same room VFW might be too crowded. note from secretary: (after the meeting president Dahlberg told me that she was advised to leave things as they are since the schedule was in process and captains had picked their venues at the captains meeting on August 21st.) Outreach to Minnesota Academy for the blind in Faribault and reaching out to colleges was discussed. Adding subs to the league: We'd like to add in subs and members to a team during the season. We will set up a committee to review this for next year's bylaw updates. Chris and Brian will work on this. Chris brought up the fact our current vendor no longer manufactures our boards and getting our boards maintained has been difficult. He has been in contact with Great Lakes Dart Company in Milwaukee WI manufacturer of the Viper and Fatcat boards. These boards have some audio features, but are not fully accessible. They might be interested in collaborating on creating an accessible board. Those who have boards will reach out to Chris with names and features. A motion was made by Gary and seconded by Ellen to adjourn the meeting, the motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 8:02 PM.
