Twin Cities Blind Audio Dart league April 8th Board meeting President Phil called the meeting to order at 1:11PM. Board members present: Barb B. Shawn B. Gary, Colleen, Jordan. As well as 1 league member. Secretary notes was read, Colleen made a motion to accepted, seconded by Gary, and accepted Vice presidents report Gary got an email concerned about how forfeiting of games were done, they were concerned a team was not trying to due their best to make up games and just instead wanted to forfeit. It was discussed there might be some kind of bylaw change to help prevent this from happening in the future. Shawn felt that there are already too many bylaws and thought it could be discussed between captains. There was also some confusion about if you had to pay for weeks that were forfeited. It was decided we would discuss this more at the general meeting. A reminder to anyone who looks at the general member list and notices there information missing to contact Barb B. with any changes. Committee Reports Fundraising Cribbage tournament for $290.00 Tournament Report We had 22 participants this year. It was a success. We paid out $250 for 1st place, $200 for second place, $150 for third place, $100 for forth place, $25 for high ton per game and $50 for high ton for the weekend. Old business Still looking at a better lock for the boards. New business Colleen made a motion that we would bring up to the general membership giving the treasurer a stipend. Seconded by Shawn. Discussed having to change the bylaw of no one getting any money. Also discussed making the treasurer an appointed position. Motion carried Discussed people's behavior of several league members, especially after drinking too much. And if captains have problems with there team members to please let the vice president know, or the captains rep. Open discussion Annie wanted to remind captains to be sure and ask if teams need help spotting and not to just expect it, as well as to treat all spotters respectfully.
